Dumpster materials policy
What cannot go in a roll-off dumpster
Do not place any of the following materials in the dumpster:
- Aerosol cans
- All liquids
- Animals
- Antifreeze
- Asbestos
- Barrels
- Batteries
- Computers
- Contaminated oils (mixed with solvents, gasoline, etc.)
- Dirt
- Fluorescent tubes
- Hazardous waste
- Lubricating/hydraulic oil
- Medical waste
- Microwaves
- Monitors
- Motor oil
- Oil filters
- Other flammable liquids
- Paint (except dried latex paint cans; no liquid)
- Petroleum-contaminated soil/lead paint chips
- Propane tanks
- Radioactive materials
- Railroad ties
- Solvents
- Televisions
- Tires
- Transmission oil
Specialized disposal and sorting costs
I agree to pay additional fees to cover the proper specialized disposal or sorting costs of prohibited or hazardous materials placed in the dumpster. These materials remain prohibited; paying additional fees does not make them acceptable.
Contact the office before loading if you are unsure about a material.
Card authorization for approved rental charges
When I pay by card, I authorize Bowles Dumpster Rental to save my card securely through Stripe and charge it later, without me being present, for additional rental charges after the office reviews and approves them. These charges include extra rental days and excess weight at my rental’s agreed rates, plus applicable tax and payment fees. Bowles will notify me with an updated invoice showing the approved charges. This authorization applies to card payments only.
